Manual Reset Type

Overview

Manual reset fault indicators with reset buttons (MBs) are best applied as underground troubleshooting tools rather than permanently installed fault-indicating solutions. Manually reset the MB simply by pressing its integral button. Install MBs on underground sections of line that experience frequent temporary faults: the MB will help line crews identify those portions of line that require repair or upgrading.
