Beacon Timed Reset

Overview SEL BEACON® timed reset fault indicators are ideal for installation in transformers or switchgear. They do not require system voltage or load current to reset. 1BTRI fault indicators are especially useful in locating temporary faults: the display continues to flash until the end of the time-out period, providing plenty of time for a line crew to identify the location of the temporary fault.

  • Standard version powered by a replaceable 3.6 V lithium battery (Specify option "N" for a 8.5Ah nonreplaceable battery with 3,000+ flashing hours)
  • No system voltage or load current necessary
  • High-intensity LED display is easy to spot both at night and during the day
  • The Snap Action Clamp option enables installation on larger cable diameters
  • UV-stabilized materials provide excellent weatherability
  • Compact, lightweight design simplifies installation and stocking
